Shipping Information

Where we ship
We currently ship within Canada only.
Due to export regulations, we do not ship dahlia tubers internationally.

When we ship
Dahlia tubers ship in spring, once temperatures are consistently warm enough that parcels are unlikely to freeze in transit. For most Canadian growers, this is typically mid to late April through early May, but timing can vary by year and region.

We cannot accommodate early shipping requests.

Orders ship in the order they are received, as they are packed and ready.

Shipping method + tracking
Orders ship via Canada Post.
Tracking information will be emailed once your parcel ships.

Shipping rates
We offer flat-rate shipping of $20 per order (Canada-wide).

Local farm pickup
Free local farm pickup is available by arrangement.
Customers choosing pickup will be contacted by email when tubers are ready for collection.

Viable eye guarantee
Every tuber is inspected and shipped with at least one viable eye.
Tubers are often shipped dormant, and eyes may not be visible on arrival even though they were identified during division and re-checked prior to shipping. Dahlias can take several weeks to break dormancy after planting.

Address accuracy
Please double-check your mailing address at checkout.
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, re-shipping costs may apply.

Combined orders
If you place more than one order, we are happy to combine shipping where possible, when timing and packing allow.

Damage, delays, and weather
Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, shipping timelines are outside our control. We pack carefully, but weather and transit delays can occur, especially in spring.
