Join me for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to confidently plant your seedlings or garden centre transplants and set up a cut flower bed that will produce blooms all summer long.
Whether you started your own seeds or picked up plants locally, this class will show you how to plant them properly and help them thrive.
Weather permitting the workshop will be outdoors, with hands-on planting in the garden.
During the workshop you will:
• Learn when it’s safe to plant outside in our region
• Learn how to properly harden off seedlings so they transition successfully outdoors
• Understand proper spacing for a full, productive flower bed
• Learn how to plant both homegrown seedlings and store-bought transplants
• Transplant into a garden bed step-by-step
• Learn how to water and care for plants after planting
• Learn simple techniques like pinching to increase blooms
